Who can sell?
Hobbyists and businesses in regions where we operate who can ship livestock overnight by FedEx or UPS and follow the Shipping & DOA policy.
What do I need to set up before listing?
Two short forms in your dashboard: Shipping (your flat rate per order, ship days, FedEx Overnight and/or UPS Overnight, and whether you offer local pickup, plus optional state discounts and states you won’t ship to) and Store Policy (your DOA terms, payment deadline and hold policy). Nothing is pre-filled. Until both are done, your listings stay in draft and can’t take bids or orders.
How does shipping work for buyers?
You charge one flat rate per order. Everything a buyer wins or buys from you before it ships is combined into one order, so they pay shipping once. You can add discounted rates for nearby states, list states you won’t ship to, offer free local pickup, or set a special rate on a single listing.
How do auction payments work?
Buyers save a card before they bid (Verified Checkout). When an auction ends, the order shows up in your dashboard; you check it and click Charge Buyer. Once the charge goes through you can ship. If a card is declined, the buyer is asked to update it and we retry automatically.
What happens if a buyer reports a DOA?
Every claim goes through AquaBidz and is decided against the DOA terms you wrote: your claim window, the proof you ask for, and the resolutions you offer. You’ll be asked to reply within 48 hours, you can add messages, photos and video, and either side can appeal once.
When does the 30-day commission-free period start?
On the day you register as a seller. After 30 days, your commission automatically moves to 5%.
What counts as a live-show sale?
Items sold during a scheduled AquaBidz live show are flagged as live-sale items and carry 0% commission.
Can I add video?
Yes — one short clip per listing (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 60 seconds and 100 MB). It plays first in your listing gallery.
How do I get paid?
Add the carrier and tracking number when you ship. Your payout for an order is released when your own claim window (from your Store Policy) ends after delivery. If the buyer opens a claim, that order is held until AquaBidz decides it under your terms. Released earnings appear under Earnings & Fees and in your seller balance (payouts are sent manually during staging; automatic Stripe payouts are planned).
