Each auction has a starting bid, a bid step and an end time set by the seller. The highest bid when the countdown hits zero wins. You can also set a max bid and we’ll bid for you, one step at a time, up to that amount. Your saved card is charged after the seller confirms your order.

Buy Now listings have a fixed price. Add them to your cart and check out right away.

It’s called Verified Checkout. You save a card and shipping address once, and nothing is charged when you bid. If you win, the seller checks your order (combining anything else you won from them) and charges your saved card. If it’s declined, we’ll ask you to update your card and retry automatically. Update it anytime under My Account → Verified Checkout.

Yes. A bid is an offer to buy at that price if you win, so only bid what you intend to pay.

Use the “Verified sellers only” toggle on the shop, category and search pages.

Sellers can add one short clip per listing. It plays muted first in the gallery — tap for sound and full screen.

Scheduled shows where sellers present items in real time. Live video is a planned upgrade; timed auctions run today.

Quick List takes under two minutes: add photos or a video, a title, a category (auto-suggested), then choose Auction, Buy Now, or Auction with a Buy Now price and enter your prices. Before your first listing you’ll answer your Shipping and Store Policy questions once. Nothing is pre-filled, and listings stay in draft until both are done.

One video per listing (MP4, MOV or WebM), up to 60 seconds and 100 MB (placeholder limits).

You pick the end date and time, anywhere from about an hour to 30 days out (Pacific time).

Yes — from Products in your seller dashboard, including adding or replacing the video.

Open Get Verified in your dashboard and add your business name and, optionally, a license or ID. Our team reviews every request.

5% commission plus a card processing fee (currently 2.9% + 30¢ via Stripe) per order. New sellers pay 0% commission for 30 days after registering, and live-show sales are always 0% commission. The card processing fee applies to every order and is shared between sellers when a buyer checks out from several stores. No listing or monthly fees.

Credit and debit cards through Stripe, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices and browsers. Card details go straight to Stripe — AquaBidz never sees full card numbers. (Staging: Stripe runs in test mode.)

Yes. On any paid order you can choose “Buy an AquaBidz UPS label”: confirm the box size and weight, pick UPS Next Day Air (recommended for livestock) or 2nd Day Air, and you’ll see the AquaBidz UPS rate before you buy. The label prints as a PDF, tracking is added to the order automatically, and the label price comes out of that order’s payout. AquaBidz may earn a margin on shipping labels purchased through the platform. You can always use your own shipping instead.

Card processing is passed through to sellers: currently 2.9% + 30¢ per checkout (Stripe’s standard US card rate). It applies to every order — including a seller’s free first 30 days and live-show sales — and when a buyer checks out from several sellers at once, it is split in proportion to each seller’s share of the order. You can see it as a separate line under Earnings & Fees in your dashboard.

Each seller’s payout is released when their own claim window ends (the hours they set in their Store Policy), counted from delivery. Sellers add a carrier and tracking number when they ship; once the order is marked delivered, the window starts. If there is no claim, the earnings are released and become eligible for payout. If a claim is opened, that order is on hold until AquaBidz decides it under the seller’s terms. Sellers see the status (Pending Release, Released or On Hold), with the exact release time, under Earnings & Fees.

Featured Listing: $10 for 7 days. Featured Seller spotlight: $50 per week (placeholder prices).

When a seller you referred registers and completes their first sale, you get $25 in credit (placeholder), applied automatically to promotion purchases.

Each seller sets one flat rate per order, shown on every listing. Some sellers offer lower rates to nearby states (applied automatically at checkout), free shipping over a set amount, or free local pickup. There’s no AquaBidz default rate.

Overnight by FedEx Overnight or UPS Overnight, on the ship days the seller lists (usually early in the week, so boxes don’t sit over a weekend). When you’re logged in you can pick a preferred ship date, local pickup if offered, and FedEx or UPS when the seller offers both.

Open My Account → Orders and click Report a Problem. The form shows that seller’s DOA terms, your deadline and the proof they ask for (photo, video or both). The seller’s payout is held while AquaBidz reviews it, and the decision follows the seller’s own terms. See the Shipping & DOA Policy.

Yes, automatically. Everything you win or buy from the same seller before it ships goes into one order, and shipping is charged once. Items from two sellers means two shipping charges.

Some sellers don’t ship to certain places (for example Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands or APO/FPO addresses). The listing shows these. If your saved address is on the list, you can only buy from that seller if they offer local pickup.
